Hey Geoff, Its been a very long time since I talked to you, back in 2000 I think when you were on spring break from teaching and heading to Cannon Beach with your guitar to relax. I have followed along with the changes in your career. You did what you said you were going to do. My daughter has enjoyed your music, in fact I bought her your cd not longer after we talked. She still has it.

The gig at the Sunset Marquis was amazing. I got to play with John Oates, Jed Leiber, T Bone, Jon Michelle, and jam with Billy Gibbons. One of the hilights was opening for Stevie Wonder and watching his set. Unreal. A great night! Thanks guys!

"When I Fall" is a great song. The TLOY version on TNGAB turned it into a power ballad, taking it to the next level. It was my favorite moment on the series overall. I've played it over and over. It makes a strong emotional connection. Thanks!

Thank you for the warm comments. We felt good about it. We were grateful for the exposure and thankful to the producers that wanted us back. All in all, it was a great experience. I have to say I was heartbroken when you guys got booted from NGAB. Not all bad as you can see I am from far away and have grown to really love your sound. Geoff is an amazing front man and it seems you are now hooked up with some really wotrthy musicisians to help carry that voice. I thought you guys rocked the finale tonight and were the best act on stage. You guys really have an "appealing to all" type sound. I lean more toward hard-rock, alternative and my wife prefers more soft rock, modern gospel. We both love you and that says alot about your appeal. Glad to hear about your upcoming CD ... any label should be proud to have you. Now I can't wait 'till June. Good Luck and keep your music real.

I have been following Geoff Byrd for over 4 years (since before I was 18 years old) and it's exciting to see him grow and change. I first saw him at the Whiskey in Los Angeles in the summer of 2003. I'm still in love with Candy Shell and it is a regular rotation on my iPod.

I loved the Elton and Bernie song, wow Geoff, even though I don't know much of your personal life you certainly always sing with passion and heart. I see nothing original on the great american band show, it is all copy and rehashing old styles. I do like DotDotDot only because my grandparents were telegraphers.

I'm so glad I found your site. You guys have a fresh, great sound...real tight! Like so many others, we wasted 2 hours listening to the screaching of dot, dot, dot and Rocket, only to be blown away to see you not put thru to the next round. These "reality" shows are really about what lenghts people will go to with their "autodialers" and mass texting to keep their local favorite on the show. You guys were head & shoulders (literally) above everyone else on the show. I won't watch it again! Best of luck to all you guys & I wish you much success & prosperity in the coming years!! It was great to see you guys perform on the next great american band..... I wasn't too impressed on that whole competition though - people have to realize those reality shows are not reality...and the judges are biased...still, we watch.... entertainment value? Atleast you know you didn't need to win that one - it was great exposure though!! Keep up the great work - your sound is awesome!

Wow, amazing! Just viewed your last performance on "Next Great American Band" and am even more dumbfounded on how you are no longer in the competition!! That's O.K. though, because you must realize that you really don't need that show to insure your success. It's written in the stars! As sure as we'll hear about Britney Spears in the news yet one more time! I just can't wait to see you guys live! What a falsetto!! Musicianship and song writing....amazing all the way! just watched the 'dylan' show again. i'm a musician - it's a blessing and a curse - to see real, excellent musicians like yourselves, having to compete against hacks like most of the other bands were, and then ***UNBELIEVABLE*** not making the next show, was almost indescribably painful. Seriously, you guys are WORLD CLASS MUSICIANS!!!! The vocals, the guitar and bass work, the drums, the tightness, the freshness, and on and on...a real honest-to-god rock band!!! basically, i've lost all faith in the show (its obviously just a popularity contest) but at least i found you guys - please keep up the good work and i'm certain i'll be hearing great things from you guys soon on the radio down here in Austin!!!!!

You've got a lot of class and integrity. The honesty and soul in your music coupled with your amazing voice made me a fan of your music, but the way you carry yourself and reach out to your fans says a lot about who you are. I'm very proud of how you handled the show and your performances.

Geoff, I was dumbstruck when I saw last night's show. I know everything happens for a reason, but wow! I cannot fathom what happened there. Some of it was actually painful to watch but I sat through it waiting and waiting to hear you guys, and then POW! What a disappointment. I thought it was the Next Great American Band. Some of those guys are not even on the same level as you guys. I guess what it all comes down to though is that you don't need a contest that makes the most out of America's love of watching train wrecks to promote your truly talented and gifted band. Take care (and go find a sattellite to drum on it will make you feel a whole lot better I promise. lol don't forget to run though)
